William Stewart

Mr. William ( W.L.) Stewart, age 75 of Blue Ridge Road, Campbellsville, died Tuesday at his residence after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Albert Stewart and Lula Sanders Stewart of Taylor County. He was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church and a retired excavating contractor. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Stewart and one sister, Judy Stewart.

He is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Darla and Jack Owenby of North Carolina and Sarah and Bill Toll of Georgia. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his ex-wife, Carolyn Woods of Campbellsville and two sisters Sarah Hubbard and Linda (Lawrence) Roots of Campbellsville.

Funeral services for Mr. William (W.L.) Stewart were held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
