William Sallee

William E. "Bill" Sallee
(1927 - 2013)
William E. "Bill" Sallee of Campbellsville, son of the late William Arthur Sallee and Mary Anna Murrell Sallee, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 27, 1927. He died at 9:35 P.M., Sunday, March 17, 2013, in Campbellsville.
Age: 85
He united in marriage to Ella Mary Wyatt December 14, 1952. She preceded him in death July 12, 2009.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Sunny Hill Church of Christ.
He was a Veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and the United Sates Army and retired as a Technical Sergeant.
He was also a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He is survived by one daughter and special friend: Gina Lyn Sallee and Gary B. Cox of Campbellsville; one brother and four sisters: Daymon Sallee, Jewell (Jay) Cox, and Lora Mae Dudgeon of Campbellsville, Mary Elizabeth Vance of Greensburg, and Athol Milby of Summersville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Delois Bell, Logan Ray Sallee and Maurice Gene Sallee.
