William Olin Blakeman of Campbellsville, son of the late Earlie Blakeman and Alma Coffey Blakeman, was born February 11, 1933, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:09 A.M., Monday, April 13, 2015 in Louisville. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
He was a retired construction, heavy equipment and excavation operator.
He united in marriage to Margie Walls December 24, 1955.
Besides his wife, Margie Blakeman of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: David Blakeman and wife, Jill and Danny Blakeman and wife, Teena of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Stephanie Clenney and husband, Ryan Matti Blakeman and Corey Blakeman; two step-granddaughters: Paige Hord and husband, Shaun and Mendi Prow; three step-great-grandchildren: Lane Hord, Thomas Hord and Jacob Clenney; two brothers and three sisters: Bobbie G. Blakeman of Greensburg, George M. Blakeman of Ft. Worth, Texas, Cleo Underwood of Campbellsville, Barbara Loyall of Brentwood, Tennessee and Nora Graybeal and husband, Louis of Paducah; one sister-in-law, Mary Frances Blakeman of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters: Melvin Blakeman, Craddock Blakeman, Earlie Blakeman, Jr. and Leo Blakeman in infancy, Edna Parrott, Temple Kirtley and Lula Havens.
