O B I T U A R Y
Royce Hershel Clark was born in the Exie Community of Green County on Monday, July 3, 1933 to the late George Hershel Clark and Anna Lee Kelly Clark, and departed this life on Friday, September 22, 2023 at the age of 90 years.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army, from 1953 to 1955 with much of that time stationed in Germany. He was also a member of the American Legion Rod Lowe Post #124.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church.
United in marriage to Elizabeth Lewis Phillips June 1, 1956. Elizabeth was his devoted wife for 60 years preceding him in death on August 3, 2016.
He lived a full life as a husband and father, also as a farmer, electrician and served as a deputy in the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
Survivors include a daughter: Lisa Clark Eastridge of Campbellsville; step grandchildren: Jay Eastridge and Meredith Jaskowski along with their families; sister-in-law: Shelia Phillips; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Also surviving is his feline friend, Trudy.
Mr. Clark was also preceded in death by his son-in-law: Bobby Eastridge on October 3, 2016; three brothers and three sisters: Vernon Clark, William Clark, Hobart Clark, Elsie Jones, Julia Lee, and infant, Naomi Clark.

The funeral services for Royce Hershel Clark will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Bro. Joseph Wilcoxson officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations are suggested to the Kentucky Humane Society or the charity of choice, which can be made at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.
