Ronald Hixson

Mr. Ronald Warren Hixson passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Campbellsville at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Casey County, KY to the late Roy and Minnie Hixon on April 19, 1931, he was 91 years of age at the time of his death. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Hixon was retired from the Carnation Milk Company. He loved woodworking, building furniture, spending time with family and made frequent trips to Wal-Mart.   He leaves to cherish his memory:

His wife: Ruby Graybeal Hixon

One daughter: Brenda Underwood and husband Michael T. of Elk Horn, KY

One brother: Byron Hixon of Knifley.

Two grandchildren: Stephanie Conn and husband Joey of Columbia, KY, Cathy Murray and husband Shawn of Greensburg, KY.

Four great-grandchildren: Dylan Conn, Dawson Conn, Dax Conn, and Casen Murray.

Special friends: Kathy and Larry Strange, Jimmy and Marilyn Gardner, Jewell Corbin and George Campbell.

And a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by: three sisters: Wilma Johnson, Una Cravens and Vera Davenport  and one great grandson: Joseph Dane Conn.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Ronald Warren Hixon on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
