Roger Thomas Land of Campbellsville, son of the late Tommy Land and Nellie Noel Land, was born August 16, 1942 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 10:27 A.M., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 70
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Living Grace Church.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom after forty-two years of service.
He united in marriage to Anita Cox February 4, 1961.
Besides his wife, Anita Land of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Mitchell Thomas Land and wife, Lisa of Louisville and Melinda DeSpain and husband, Kevin of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Brandon Thomas Humphries, Tara Wallace and Carrie Jo DeSpain; four great-grandchildren: Traxton Thomas Wallace, Dalton Cox, Landon Cox and Tatum Caulk; three sisters and one brother: Jo Colvin and husband, Richard of Campbellsville, Sharon Spear and husband, Homer of Liberty, Sandy DeHart and husband, Bill of Winchester and Donald Land and wife, Shirley of Liberty;
several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
