Michael E. "Sleepy" O'Banion of Campbellsville, son of the late William Byron O'Banion and Dorothy Hord O'Banion was born August 10, 1948 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:45 A.M., Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 64
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Highways.
He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca P. Chaudoin of Greensburg; four grandchildren: Blake Chaudoin, Katie Chaudoin, Faith Wright and Allen Wright; three brothers and one sister: William Ray O'Banion and wife, Shelia, Harold O'Banion and wife, Nancy, Donald O'Banion and wife, Vicky of Campbellsville and Diane Estep and husband, Kenneth of Elizabethton, Tennessee; special friend, Barbara Donahue of Bardstown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Kay O'Banion in infancy.
