Merle Rodgers

Lennie Merle Rodgers, 90, formerly of Adair County, died Monday, August 19, 2013 at 5:10 A.M. at Golden Living Center-Green Hill Manor in Greensburg.

She was born February 28, 1923, in Adair County, to the late Willis & Kansas Coomer Keltner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Simpson Rodgers and a son, Jimmy Phillip Rodgers. She was a member of Tarter's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:
One son - Danny Joe (Ruby) Rodgers of Columbia
Two brothers - Earl Keltner of Greensburg & Dawson Keltner of Columbia
One sister - Cledus Downey of Greensburg
Seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren & two great-great grandchildren, along with several other relatives & friends

Funeral service - Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Selby Coomer and Rev. Herbert Janes officiating

Burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Wednesday

Casket Bearers: Mitchell Keltner, Millard Keltner, Michael Scobee, Wade Rodgers, Byron Rodgers, Billy Joe Keltner

Honorary: Women of Tarter's Chapel United Methodist Church
