Mazetta Martin Stephens of Hodgenville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Frank Martin and Stella Parsons Martin, was born on December 23, 1920, in Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home. She was 91 years, and 22 days of age.
Mrs. Stephens had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church where she was also an active participant in Wesley Meadows United Methodist Women. Mazetta was retired from Fruit of Loom in Campbellsville and was a homemaker.
She united in marriage to Blane W. Stephens on March 28, 1942 who preceded her in death in August 1992.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Bendal and Patricia Stephens of Elizabethtown, and Morris Stephens of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter: Elwanda Stephens of Louisville; four Grandchildren: Michael Stephens of Taylorsville, David Stephens of Illinois, Melissa Stephens and William (Billy) Stephens both of Elizabethtown; eight great-grandchildren: Kaleb Stephens, Kyler Stephens, Savannah Hughes, Benjamin Stephens, Isabella Stephens, MaKenna Stephens, Courtney Mudd, and Alyviah Handley; one great-great-grandchild: Jena Mudd; four sisters and two bothers-in-law: Chrystal Blaydes of Campbellsville, Elnora and Stanford Pickett, Sylvia Kelly, Jean and Richard Clark all of Greensburg and Carolyn Blaydes of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A special gratitude to her devoted Wesley Meadows "Adopted" Children Nancy and Donald Sprowles and all of her Wesley Meadows church family.
Mrs. Stephens was also preceded in death by two brothers: Clifton Martin and Wayne Martin.

The funeral services for Mrs. Mazetta Stephens will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 16, 2012 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wallace Votaw and Rev. Andrew Singh will be officiating.
Visitation is requested from 3 until 8 P.M., Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M. Monday until time of the funeral service.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church in Hodgenville, Kentucky which can be made at the funeral home.
