Marlene Veatch of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Hubert Wilcox and Yvonne Zinn Wilcox, was born April 10, 1940 in Ottumwa, Iowa, and departed this life on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her home in Greensburg. She was 74 years, five months, and 25 days of age.
She was retired from Fruit of the Loom, Inc. as a machine operator.
Mrs. Veatch is survived by her husband of 30 years, Carl Edward Veatch having united in marriage on December 9, 1983.
Other survivors include her children: Gail Cave and Jeff Wright of Greensburg, Dewayne and Francine Veatch of Tennessee, Lisa Loy of Stanford, and Greg and Karen Veatch of North Carolina; four grandchildren: Manda Cave, Eddie Cave both of Greensburg, Leslie Beauchamp, and Brittany Loy both of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Veatch was also preceded in death by a daughter: Tammy Cave; and a sister: Deatte Payne.

The funeral services for Marlene Veatch will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M., Tuesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Wednesday until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
