She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was a former beautician.
She united in marriage to Billy Ray Philpott August 13, 1960.
Besides her husband, Billy Ray Philpott, she is survived by one son and one daughter:
Robbie Philpott and wife, Sandra of Greensburg and Veronica Allen and husband, Shannon of Richmond; two grandsons: Cole Bland of Richmond and Ethan Philpott of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Lynwood "Sonny" Cave and wife, Lule Mae and Vicki Mullins of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
