Joel Gabbert of Campbellsville, son of the late Willie Virgil Gabbert and Bessie Pearline Thomas Gabbert was born in Adair County, Kentucky, April 3, 1943. He died at 9:30 A.M., Saturday, September 15, 2012, in Greensburg. Age: 69
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, a farmer, and an avid honey bee keeper.
He united in marriage to Joseline Atwood December 7, 1963.
Besides his wife, Joseline Gabbert, he is survived by two daughters: Barbara Sue Coxand financee, Kent Bland and Sandra Kaye Roby and spouse, Mike Ellsworth; eight grandchildren: Tiffany Nicole Cox, Brandie Erin Cox, Keith Andrew Roby and wife, Sherri, Alexander Blake Roby and fiancee,Lucy Hardesty, Katelyn Ashley Roby, Brooklyn Amber Roby, Alicia Danielle Ellsworth, and Alexis Kaye Ellsworth; two great-grandchildren: Aubrianna Denise Roby and Elijah Barrett Adams; all of Campbellsville; four sisters and one brother: Jewell Watson, Lillie Buckman, and Dollie Cox of Campbellsville, Ethel Marie Raims of Hixson, Tennessee, and Paul David Gabbert and wife, Donna of Knifley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Gabbert.
