Joan Roach

Joan Dorise Roach (Herron), 81, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023.

Joan was born September 10, 1941 to Woodrow and Frances Herron.

She was a 1959 graduate of Campbellsville High School and a graduate of beautician school. She was an avid square dancer, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Frances Herron; sisters, Margaret Watson and Mary Calfee.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 63 years, J C Roach; daughter, Jan Glancy (Jeffrey); son, Jeffrey Roach (Becky); grandchildren, Josh Roach, Stephanie King (Justin), Sara Roach, and Shannon Glancy; great-grandson, Oliver Schenck; sister, Joyce Hartman.

Visitation will be 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, Louisville, KY 40214.

Her funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 9th, at the funeral home in Louisville. After the ceremony in Louisville, we will then proceed to the burial at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
