Jim Humphress

Jim Humphress of Campbellsville, son of the late Willie Matt Humphress and Matre Knifley Humphress was born August 26, 1935 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 9:15 A.M., Saturday, March 19, 2011 in Campbellsville.


He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. He was the former owner and operator of Lucky Vista Motel in Campbellsville from 1974 to 1994. He united in marriage to Jo an Jackson March 9, 1957.


Besides his wife, Jo an Humphress of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Vicky and John Tucker of Campbellsville and Sheila and Tom Prow of Bowling Green; four grandchildren: Tyler Prow, James Prow and wife Sandra, Abby Prow and Andrea Tucker; two great grandchildren, Abbey Sue Prow and Noah Prow; one brother, William Burr Humphress of Greensburg, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Humphress.
