Jesse Goff

Mr. Jesse Holman Goff, Jr. of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Jesse Holman Goff, Sr. and Rachel Tucker Goff, was born on December 19, 1941 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, December 7, 2009 at his home.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He was a lifelong farmer, a former manager of the Moody Milk Movers and a former employee for Fruit of the Loom, Inc., and was a Kentucky Colonel.

He united in marriage to Berna Jean Houk on October 20, 1961 who survives.

Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and Jay Shofner of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Patrick Shofner of Ashland and Haley Shofner of Greensburg; two brothers: Thomas Ray "Red" Goff and his wife Juanita, and Henry Goff all of Campbellsville; two sisters: Elizabeth Humphress and her husband Hancel of Campbellsville and Beverly Drummond and her fiancee' Mark Ponder of Yosemite, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
