Mr. James T. Stearman of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Foster Ray Stearman and Myrtle Marcum Stearman, was born on July 16, 1926 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. He was 86 years, and four days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church and was a lifelong farmer. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Jean Larimore Stearman who united in marriage on February 7, 1948.
Other survivors include his children and their spouses: J.T. and Sheila Stearman, JoAnne and Jeff Withers, Brenda and Dr. Kenneth DeSimone, Roger and Debra Stearman all of Greensburg, Kathy Stearman and Keith Glynn of California, and Regina and Pete Johnson of Summersville; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: Eudell and Ailene Stearman of Hodgenville, Lee and Eleanor Stearman of Elizabethtown, and Linda Stearman of Hodgenville; a sister and brother-in-law: Rachel and James Conrad of Owenton, a half-brother: Ivan Pepper of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Stearman was also preceded in death by one grandchild; and five brothers: Ray Stearman, Leonard Stearman, William Stearman, Russell Stearman, and David Stearman.

The funeral services for Mr. James T. Stearman will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Roger Pepper will be officiating.
Visitation is requested from 3 until 8 P.M., Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.
Memorials are suggested to the Jane Todd Crawford Ladies Auxiliary, which can be made at the funeral home.
