James Rose

James "Jimmy" Rose of Campbellsville, son of the late Lindsey Allen Rose and Hallie Chaney, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 26, 1935. He died at 9:35 A.M., Sunday, September 25, 2011 in Campbellsville.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church where he was a former deacon.
He was the former owner and operator of Bear Safety for many years.
He was a member of the United States National Guard for six years.
Jimmy loved nature, being outdoors, fishing with his son and was a dedicated loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He united in marriage to Ruby Bryant December 27, 1959.
Besides his wife, Ruby Rose, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Jamie Rose and wife, Rhonda of Campbellsville, Tammy Green and husband, Bill of Vero Beach, Florida and Joyce Rose and partner, Sheila Kalas of Lexington; four grandchildren: Joshua Rose, Morgan Rose, Will Green and Madison Rose; one brother and one sister: Tom Rose and wife, Virginia and Marie Rose, all of Campbellsville; many nieces and nephews several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Lee Rose May 15, 2000.
