James Mattingly

James Albert "Boots" Mattingly of Campbellsville, son of the late John Henry Mattingly and Ruth M. Mattingly, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, June 24, 1927. He died at 12:30 P.M., Monday, January 17, 2011 in Campbellsville.


Besides his wife, Mary D. (Bennett) Mattingly, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Randall Lee Mattingly and Jeffery A. Mattingly of Campbellsville and Mildred J. Brown of Louisville; two grandchildren: Connie Sue Bowen and husband, Dale of Louisville and Cameron J. Mattingly of Los Angeles, California; one sister, Nellie M. Mattingly of Loretto; step-grandson, Michael Miller of Shepherdsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Herbert Mattingly and Robert Mattingly.
