James Gaines

James Allen "Jimmy" Gaines of Campbellsville, son of the late Frank Gaines and Irene Sallee Gaines, was born in Green County, Kentucky, December 23, 1922. He died at 6:15 P.M., Monday, November 23, 2009 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church. He was an employee of Edrington Service Station for some thirty-two years.

He united in marriage to Mary Belle Livesay July 10, 1943. Besides his wife, Mary Belle Gaines, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Allen Lee and Kay Gaines; three grandchildren: Kim Gaines, Matthew Gaines, and Josh Gaines; one brother and one sister: John W. Gaines and Mary Gaines; all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Phillips April 9, 2009.
