George Cox

Wayne Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late George B. Cox and Kathleen Ferguson Cox, was born January 15, 1950 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:20 A.M., Thursday, October 14, 2010 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Living Grace Church. He was employed as a semi truck driver for Cox Interior. He united in marriage to Phyllis K. England December 31, 1999. Besides his wife, Phyllis Cox, he is survived by two daughters and their spouses: Katrina and Steve Rucker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Tara and Andy Rutherford of Winter Park, Florida; one step-son, Jamie Antle and wife, Lori of Campbellsville, three grandchildren: Candice Rucker, Stevie Lynn Rutherford and Brianna Rutherford; three step-grandchildren: Caitlyn Antle, Jackson Antle and Bailee Antle; several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Carlton Cox April 13, 1970 and Dwight Cox in infancy.
