Mrs. Geneva (Pierce) Hunt, daughter of the late Roscoe and Mattie (Brewer) Hunt, was born on March 28, 1933 in Taylor County. She departed this life on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her home, being 84 years, 5 months, and 10 days of age. Mrs. Hunt professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She had worked at the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville several years, but her calling in life was to be a wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory:
Her husband of nearly 67 years: Edward Hunt,
Two children: Phyllis Sallee and husband Eddie, and David Hunt and special friend Kaye Hunt and her children, all of Campbellsville,
Three siblings: Louise Manasco and husband Jesse, and Juanita Perkins, all of Campbellsville, and Kenny Pierce and wife Shirley of Greensburg,
Two granddaughters: Samantha Arnold and husband Chad, and Andrea Smith, both of Campbellsville,
Four great-grandchildren: Maddox, Kinley, Caroline, and Avery,
A sister-in-law: Gertrude Sprowles of Campbellsville,
And a host of other family and friends.
