Frances Murphy of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charles Lee Cull and Mattie Whitehouse Cull, was born March 9, 1932, in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 10:28 A.M., Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in Campbellsville.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to James "Bill" Murphy December 23, 1948. He preceded her in death January 31, 2003.
She is survived by four daughters and one son: Carolyn Morris and husband, Jimmy; Diane Bland and husband, Ricky; Billy Murphy of Campbellsville; Mary Ann Thomas and husband, Bernard of Lebanon and Betty Burris and husband, Danny of Russell Springs; seven grandchildren: J. J. Marcum of Campbellsville, Shawn Thomas of Lexington, Christie Bland Metcalf of Bardstown, Laura Bland Gupton of Ohio, Sarah Burris Gonzales of Arkansas, Joshua Burris of Russell Springs and Brittany Murphy of Indiana; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Zelda Smith of Danville and Charles Cull and Howard Cull of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
