Ethel Wood

Ethel Wood of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Wesley "Went" Dile and Alta Zena Rogers Dile, was born in Green County, Kentucky, July 28, 1929. She died at 4:25 P.M., Sunday, February 19, 2012, in Campbellsville. Age: 82
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Elkhorn Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to David Wood January 22, 1949. He preceded her in death September 14, 1996.
She is survived by four daughters and six sons: Helen Rainwater, Melva Wood, Sue Hunt, Norma Wright, Les Wood, Raymond Wood, George Wood, Joe Wood, Guy Wood, and Bobby Wood all of Campbellsville; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters: Shreve Dile, Finis Dile, J.W. Dile, Moss Dile, Sylvia Oliver, Lovie Blankenship, Geraldine Nye, and Ollie Joy.
