Edwin Darrell Bright, age 71 of Campbellsville, died Friday, August 9, 2013 in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Edwin Darrell was the son of the late Audrey Christie and Lloyd Buck Bright.
Edwin Darrell Bright was a Decorated Viet Nam Veteran in the United States Army. Ed was retired United States Postal Service "Post Master of Mannsville." Ed "Colonial" Bright loved fishing and spending time with his friends, he was a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Bright, two daughters; Teresa Bright of Campbellsville and Missy and (Keith) Burress of Mt. Washington, one granddaughter; Stephanie Blakeman, two brothers and daughter-in-law; Jim Bright of Campbellsville, Terry and (Katheryn) Bright of Tennessee, one sister and brother-in-law; Judy and (Bob) O'Banion of Florence, one uncle Don Christie and wife Vivian, along with a host of family and friends.
Services for Mr. Edwin Bright were conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors by D.V.A. Chapter 70 with the assistance of the Patriot Guard Riders.
