Edna Yarberry age 93 years of Columbia, Ky. passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013

at 3:44 A.M. at the Medical Center at Bowling Green

She was born on May 6, 1919 in Adair County

She was the daughter of the late Oscar & Ora Mae Corbin Arnold

and the widow of Lawrence L. Yarberry who preceded her in death on July 30, 1972

She is survived by three daughters & three sons

Dr. Patricia Yarberry Allen & (Doug McItyre) of New York

Claudette (Charles) Fletcher of Glensfork, Ky.

Debbie (Reed) Gist of Gradyville, Ky.

Dale (Ginny) Yarberry of Texas

Stanley (Judy) Yarberry of Washington

George (Ruth) Yarberry of Bowling Green, Ky.

Brother Edwin "Elb" Arnold of Roley

Sisters Lorena Wallace of Tennessee, Beulah Arnold of Campbellsville, Ky.

Nina Smucker of Indiana & Yneth Broughton of Ashland, Ky.&

Justine Knifley of Campbellsville, Ky.

13 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by one grandchild

also surviving are several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends

Mrs.Yarberry was a member of Columbia Christian Church, was a teacher, writer

and painter who spent 17 years living in New York City where she was

Known for her entertaining and special way with Southern cooking and was a house wife
