Edna Pierce

April 12, 1918 — November 28, 2010

Mrs. Edna Allene Pierce of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Walter Lee Hall and Elsie Judd Hall, was born on April 12, 1918 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center. She was 92 years, seven months and 16 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Ogle Lee Pierce on December 23, 1939 who preceded her in death in December of 1987.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Margy Pierce of Campbellsville and Verlon and Brenda Pierce of Bowling Green; four grandchildren and spouses: Amanda Payton of Bowling Green, Daniel and Miranda Pierce of Bowling Green, Jacky and Julane Pierce of Campbellsville, Jill and Paul Callison of Summersville; six great-grandchildren: Courtney Callison and Emily Callison of Summersville, Jalynn, Natalie and Chloe Pierce of Campbellsville, Pierce Lee Payton of Bowling Green; a sister: Cleo Judd of Greensburg; a brother: Paul Hall; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Pierce was also preceded in death by an infant son James Carlton Pierce in 1943; two brothers: Walter Clell Hall and Charlie Taylor Hall.
