Clara Smith

Clara Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Omer Robert Hinton and Della Antle Hinton was born October 2, 1918 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 11:05 A.M., Saturday, December 12, 2009 in Campbellsville.

She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Shively Jewelry in Campbellsville. She was an active member of the Taylor County Hospital Auxiliary for twenty-one years. She united in marriage to Marshall W. Smith May, 1957. He preceded her in death December 31, 2001.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mickie and Henry Blakeman of Campbellsville; three grandsons: Barry Blakeman and wife Donna; Mark Blakeman and wife Tammy and Steve Blakeman of Campbellsville; five great grandchildren; one sister, Geneva Warren of Louisville and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother: Lela Warren, Myrtie Smith, Nona McMahan and Bobby Hinton.
