Charles Sluder

Mr. Charles "Bill" Sluder of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late John Sluder and Lettie Cox Sluder, was born on February 10, 1947 in Illinois departed this life on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at his home in Green County. He was 63 years, six months and 30 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He was also a 30 year plus employee for Parker Kalon in Campbellsville and was a member of the Teamsters Union 223.

He united in marriage to Rita Jeffries on January 22, 1972 who survives.

Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Troy and Sara Sluder, Timmy and Jaclyn Sluder all of Greensburg and Greg and Trish Sluder of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Alec, Braeden and Rylee Sluder all of Greensburg, Mercedese Moran, Rion Alley, Kamryn Russell all of Greensburg, Dustin and Brittany Sluder of Campbellsville and Colton Moore of Greensburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law: John Harold and Debbie Sluder, and Jimmy and Linda Sluder all of Campbellsville; seven sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen and Gary Claywell, Linda and Michael Newton, Jane and David Dudgeon, Lilly and Monty Benningfield, Shirley and Roy Greybeal, Beachel and Les Clark, and Mary Vance all of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
