O B I T U A R Y

Carol Lynn Doutaz Scott, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Gilbert Doutaz and Dorothy Browning Doutaz, was born Thursday, February 22, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville. She was 51 years and 14 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Campbellsville. She was employed by Campbellsville Apparel.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ricky J. Scott of Campbellsville, having united in marriage on November 27, 1981.

Other survivors include two sons: Jeffrey Scott of Lexington and Eric Scott of Campbellsville; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul and Candy Doutaz of New Salisbury, Indiana, Phil and Marie Doutaz of Louisville and Joe and Barb Doutaz of Lexington; six sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty and Richard Noyes of Louisville, Jeanne Grantz of Mt. Washington, Kathy and Joe Bartles of Louisville, Jackie and Chuck Conner of Greensburg, Dottie and Rick Davis of Campbellsville, and Julie McKean of Elizabethtown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Carol was also preceded in death by her sister: Margaret Rupe of Louisville.

Carol's request was a private funeral mass at her church with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg are in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association which may be made at the funeral home.
